Sur Le Bayou

MICHEAL JUAN NUNEZ SHOW HAS BEEN CANCELLED.....

Housed in the historic Richard Sale Barn, Le Bayou Legendaire began as a labor of love of Johnny and Kathy Richard.
The Richard family holds many memories of the property’s decades as an active, thriving auction house for livestock.
Later, Johnny bought the family property and converted it into a saddle shop.
Today, it’s spirit as a gathering place lives on in a wonderful incarnation as Le Bayou Legendaire, a nonprofit organization spearheaded by Johnny and Kathy, dedicated to the preservation of the French rural culture of Vermilion Parish and Acadiana.
Johnny and Kathy are joined by other members of the Richard family Bert, Mona, Orrin and Todd Richard, making this a true family affair.
 



Smoke Free

The Richard Sale Barn is a smoke free environment.  Smoking is permitted outside the facility but tobacco use is not permitted inside the barn.

Food and Beverages

While the "bar" is closed during performances to allow the most of the concert experience, beverages are available before, during intermission and after the show.

CHILDREN AND FAMILIES ARE WELCOME!!

Le Bayou Legendaire and the Richard Sale Barn is family friendly.   We are proud to say we are not a local bar scene but a cultural concert experience.  

We ask that children be of appropriate age to sit through 45 minutes of concert music and settings.
